Steve Urner entered the real estate business in 1977 working for Century 21 Minner Realty. In 1987, Steve answered the calling of law enforcement and was hired by the Kern County Sheriff’s Department. Although Steve was a fulltime peace officer, he actively sold real estate, over 10-million dollars worth, mostly to peace officers during his career. Steve retired as a senior deputy sheriff in March of 2005 and now actively pursues real estate full time as the owner of Urner realty.
A Family Tradition
The Urner family threads run deep in Kern County….from David E. Urner’s 1919 opening of Urner’s Home Furnishing to Marty Urner’s successful audio visual business, Audio Visual Plus, is in it’s 20th year.
Urner’s Chrysler Plymouth was Harold Urner’s successful auto dealership in the 60’s. Randy Urner recently opened his own outdoor lifestyle store, Randy Urner’s OutSide. Steve’s wife, Kim Urner, owns and operates Pollen Application Service, in it’s 9th year of serving the Agri-business.
